Company Objectives
Blue Corporation aims to have the option to be listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) by or before 2015. We constantly review our corporate objectives with emphasis on deploying new management techniques and business models.
Blue Corporation Pty Ltd is a Perth based privately owned Australian company. It is the corporate holding entity for Blue Travel Pty Ltd, Australian Education Pty Ltd, ReZsource Australia Pty Ltd, Exciting Australia Pty Ltd and Blue Management Pty Ltd.
Blue group of companies employs over 35 staff members and business activities includes :
- Asian Inbound Tourism (ASEAN region, Hong Kong, Taiwan & China)
- Japanese Inbound Tourism
- Student & Travel Retail Centre
- Incentives, Events & Conventions
- Education placement agency
- Hotel Wholesale Internet Portal

The company started off as suburban travel agent in the mid 1980s as Southern River Travel. Current management acquired the business in 1992 as a hobby. It expanded to include inbound tours business with clients from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. In 1995, Wimbledon Investments Pty Ltd was incorporated as the business vehicle. Activities were brisk during the Indonesian boom years as over 85% of the income came from Jakarta. The Asian crisis of September 1997 affected the business but fortunately to company was small and agile. It was about that time when one of the largest Japanese Inbound operator went into liquidation. A few of their staff members moved to work under Straits Pacific Travel's infrastructure but continued to struggle. Management took the initiative to acquire this company and focused on the Japanese market. The strategy worked and a year later, it further acquired Perth Tourist Lounge and Perth School Advisory Centre in one transaction to diversify into the retailing and student placement services, primarily in the Japanese market. The latter two companies were reverted to their original owners in June 2002.
In August 2001, all business names were consolidated under the holding company of Blue Corporation Pty Ltd and Blue Travel Pty Ltd manages the tourism part of the group. As the education placement business grew, Australia Education Pty. Ltd. trading as Blue Education was established in March 2002. With a strong Japanese base, the company now handles students from all over Asia, especially China and Hong Kong. In February 2002, the company established Blue Incentives, a division that requires a high level of expertise to handle the European incentives and events groups. In July 2005, Exciting Australia Pty Ltd, an inbound tours company with a stronghold of the Taiwanese and Chinese markets became part of the group.
